Crazy Lixx hail from Sweden and are made up of Danny (vocals), Vic (guitar), Luke (bass) and Joey on drums. Playing a fine mix of sleaze metal and melodic rock they really do deserve some attention from the Rock N roll world.

The demo contains 9 uplifting tracks and is a nice mix of styles. Clearly the guys have been influenced by bands such as The Backyard Babies but on tracks like 'Over You' there is a more melodic feel, reminiscent of Bon Jovi or Saigon Kick.

The first track 'Death row' is pure sleaze metal, from the wailing vocals that belt out lyrics such as 'Take me, break me, use me then let me go', to the guitar solo half way through.

The sleaze theme continues with the next track, 'Bad in a good way', which is a faster paced track that succeeds in retaining your interest in this demo.

'Love on the run' has a great chorus and the quieter parts throughout the track add a nice variety to the CD.

'Do or die' may as well be from one of the 80's greats such as Poison, the whole sound of the song, screams Sunset Strip and I love the line 'Bang you head, wake the dead'. The big chorus and backing vocals ensure that it is a classic in the making. Any wonder the guys have decided to use it as the first single.

For some reason, Danny's voice, although strong, throughout the rest of the CD, seems to struggle a little during 'Rock N Roller Coaster' and therefore I view it as one of the weaker track on the album.

It's the only one though and overall i would have to say that Crazy Lixx are definitely one to watch. A great band with a great look and some amazing songs.
