Maeven
Bio -  Maeven were formed early last year by Saunders and Nolan, who were then quickly joined by Napier on vocals. After playing around with some material together, the band decided it was time to complete the line up, and asked Alicia a.k.a Scarlet Viper to step in on guitar.

Then the hunt for a bassist began. As this took a while, the band started writing some kick ass material, and having been let down by their stand in bassist a few days before their first show, they started gigging without one. Even with and incomplete line-up, the girls began to form a fanbase around the local area. At the end of August, Hannah B joined the band on bass, and the line-up was finally complete.

Despite the fact that all-female bands are always judged on that factor, a.k.a the "oh, it's a girl band" thing, Maeven have been showing the boys how to do it, and have gained the love and respect of their peers and fans, in Sheffield and further afield! Once people listen to them or go to a show, they realise they're not just "little girls fucking around", this band means business, and they're gonna be around for a long time to come.
